Coastal Printing is annually Compliance Certified through the Mass DEP's Environmental Results Program. This program ensures compliance with air quality, industrial wastewater and hazardous waste regulations. An innovative program, it emphasizes the prevention of pollution through strategic management techniques, and through the implementation of various TUR (Toxic Use Reduction) and other techniques.

Specific in-house practices include:

Use of vegetable and soy based inks

Direct-to-plate digital technology, eliminating film negatives and aluminum plates, and reducing chemical waste

Promotion of recycled paper for clients' projects

Recycling of waste paper and cardboard


We recycle lightbulbs, noting the hazard that mercury presents to the environment
